click on any thumbnail picture for a larger version with captions 2014 was a year to forget for Alan starting out on January 1st with a ladder drop while taking down Christmas lights resulting in a severely dislocated shoulder.  Shannon would graduate from Junior High with a 4.0 GPA all 3 years there and then start High School.  Hailey in her usual fun-loving way would have many adventures through-out the year.  We would visit my Mother in Wisconsin twice this year separately (Nora and the girls in April, and then me in late September) which that time spent together is very precious to us now because, as fate would have it, she passed away a few weeks after my visit in mid-October at age 89.
