I reworked the one-man rock terracing to match the new path and put the flagstone back in place in the front half of the path.  One-man rock is easier to put in when you have thick mud to put behind it as a base, so I hauled in a couple of wheelbarrows of the dirt that we had dug out initially for the basement steps and wet it down for that.  I had to add another wheelbarrow of dirt as filler as well.
