This website contains genealogy history, pictures, and biographies of the Steffens family, thousands of captioned pictures of our adventures, friends, projects, and a compilation of our annual Christmas letters back to 1982.  We've been adding to the website since its inception and continually update it throughout the year, so check back from time to time. The website was first developed in 1997 as a medium for sharing pictures with our extended family and friends.  It was originally called "Alan's Personal Web Pages" and has continually evolved over the years into a collection point for Steffens family information.  The blue tissue paper framed design change was made in late 2003 and the name was changed to the "Steffens Family Pages" to better represent its content. The "Year in Pictures" section was developed as a way to share our year in pictures with everyone and it contains pictures back to 1997.  In the "Vacations" section we've posted the best photographs of our vacations (many with friends) dating back to 1989.  If you've gotten to know me at all, you'd know I always have a house project going on and the more elaborate ones are represented pictorially in the "House Projects" section.  The "Fridge Gallery" showcases our friends and families pictures as they send them to us ... usually ending up on our refrigerator.
