Clyde was a farmer and mechanic who died in a model-T car accident at age 28

Sybil was a mother/homemaker who later remarried Temple Spurgeon Jenkins (Clyde's brother).  Sybil's Family Tree links
her directly back to Pocahontas
and the first English settlers! 

Temple was a mechanic.  He was believed to be named after Hampton Temple Carpenter, his mother Nancy's brother.

Biography

Bill was a Storekeeper Chief in the US Navy (having many ports of call and time at sea from 1945-1965), a ship fitter at the Bremerton Naval Shipyard (1966-1983), and his "retirement job" at the Rolling Hills Golf Course (1984-2004).

Pat worked at a soda fountain, was a processor at Bumblebee Tuna, a mother/homemaker and an expert at packing up
and moving!

Bill and Pat met in Astoria, married a few years later and lived in Astoria, OR (1950), Stockton, CA (1951), Norfolk, VA (1952), Tuxedo, MD (1952), Boston, MA (1953), Little Creek, VA (1954), Guantanamo Bay, Cuba (1957), Bremerton, WA (1960), Chula Vista, CA (1963), finally settling back in Bremerton in 1965 when Bill retired from the Navy.

Nora graduated from Olympic High School (Silverdale, WA) in 1982, from University of Washington (Seattle, WA) in 1986 with a BS in Computer Science, was a software engineer for NOAA (1986-1988), managed the IT, Administration, Accounting, HR and Facilities departments for Universal Avionics Redmond office (1988-2010) and managed the IT department (2011-2018), retiring in July 2018.  Nora enjoys her time with friends, skiing, stand-up paddleboarding, golfing, hiking, and is very actively involved in her children's lives and interests.

Alan graduated from Alter High School (Kettering, OH) in 1975, from Wright State University (Dayton, OH) in 1980 with a BS in Computer Science, was a software engineer for Lear Siegler (1980-1987) and Universal Avionics (1987-1990), a Sr Design Engineer/ IT Manager for Rockwell Collins (1990-2005), a consultant for Digital Vision (2006) and an IT Manager for Applied Technical Services (2007-2017) working every other week for his last 2 years and fully retiring in Sept 2017.  Alan started a computer consulting firm (Digital Vision) as a side business in 1995 which he still maintains.  Alan was a ski instructor at Stevens Pass Ski Resort, played volleyball, softball and bowled in leagues for many years.  He still enjoys skiing, golf, hiking and his hobbies of genealogy, home improvement and web design.

Nora lived in San Diego, CA (1963), Bremerton, WA (1964-1983), Seattle, WA (1984-present)

Alan lived in Memphis, TN (1957-1968), Dayton, OH (1969-1980), Grand Rapids, MI (1980, 1983-1984), Seattle, WA (1981-1982, 1985-present)
