The Peak 2 Peak chair is a gondola that holds 25 people that travels between the Whistler Mountain and Blackcomb Mountain mid-mountain stations.  At it's midpoint the gondola is over 1400 ft in the air and has a free span between towers of 1.9 miles.  The three cables holding it up are held together by a triangular cable stabilizers between the towers spaced out about every half mile.  It is a miracle of engineering!
