The "Percy Jackson" series of Greek Mythology adventure books were so popular this year that Shannon's 5th grade class had a Percy Jackson costume day.  Shannon spent the night at her friend Kaela's house and Kaela's mom helped them with their Medusa costumes that morning before shuttling them off to school.
