Captain Cook's Cove is a beautiful area with a
monument honoring the explorer credited with
"discovering" the Hawaiian Islands surrounded by
some nice coral reefs. Shannon rode a wake
board with a long-sided swim mask built into it ... which
allowed her to see the reefs and tropical fish, sharing the
snorkeling experience with Nora and I. She was fearless
in her float belt and water wings, swimming out hundreds of
yards away from the boat with me. Nana hung out on deck
and was the official trip photographer.
