We did this with Shannon back in 2003 on our last trip to Hawaii and then she sat on a surfboard with a hole drilled through it and a built in snorkel mask so she could view the fish and other sea creatures.

This time she donned the mask and snorkel and got the full experience.  She loved the adventure and now joins Nora and I in our love of snorkeling.
