Here's my father helping to get the exterior plywood all nailed up.  Once the top ridge lateral header boards are in place tying all the walls together, the exterior plywood gets added.  When the plywood is all up, the structure is stable and nothing can budge it after that.  The internal cross bracing can then be removed.
