The upper patio and steps are off the French doors we had put in two years ago replacing a large window in our dining room at the time.  The steps are bowed out 4 inches in the center and each step is about 6 inches narrower than the one above it ... a unique feature.  We had the patio outer shape reflect the bowed out steps for symmetry
