The cedar facia around the window and OSB plywood down the sides accounts for most of the dry rot, so I removed the facia and cut out the plywood on both sides on stud boundaries.  I then proceed to remove the insulation, hack out all the underlying stud dry rot and cut and replace the stud areas I hacked out.
