Shed inside after adding countertop, sink, divider shelves and some
drawers underneath.
This project presented some challenges.
I bought an 8' and 6' laminate countertop at Home
Depot to run the entire 13' length of the shed. I cut the
splashboard off the store-bought version to fit the 22" width
space also cutting a corner off to round the edge. Without
the splashboard to give it rigidity, both pieces warped upward
about 3". I had to put in a lot of extra structure into
the frame and dozens of screws through the frame into the bottom
of the countertop to pull the warps back out. Cutting the
second laminate piece exactly to fit in the remaining space
accounting for the warp was also a fairly complicated task.
I haven't installed plumbing for a while and the
sink had only a cold line coming in and I added a sprayer to the
right side. The splitter and all the copper plumbing
adapters I needed to assemble ended up being a work of art.
