Staggered height 4x4 frames were built in an "L" shape to the backyard with thick sheet metal nailed to them as a background for the upraised berm.  Spaces were left between the frames in the berm where trees were to be planted.  I left room for a large garage on the right that I planned to add one day.  Here my father and I are putting one-man rock in place forming a fake riverbed rockery in the process.
