Kitchen pantry after - empty The first order of business was to paint it.  The old shelves and wall connectors were removed and all their holes were patched.  I painted it the light yellow color of the kitchen in a satin texture so we could clean it. I replaced the 12" wide wire shelving with 16" wide ones  to fully utilize the space behind the door and mainly because they didn't make the 12" wide shelving anymore.  I added 3 corner shelves in the back of the pantry and added 3 more shelves toward the front on the top, giving us a little bigger gap for the vacuum cleaner, step stool and brooms in the process.
