This "before" picture shows the free standing set of shelves that I made for the garage when building the huge garage for our first house.  I made the movers pack this beast up when we moved, all 6 foot by 8 foot of it and when unloaded, I tucked it in the recessed corner of the new house's garage and loaded it up mainly with camping equipment, sports gear, and tools.
