After the rest of the roof is done and tarpapered ... next comes the front gable (roof extension covering the front porch).  The corner 2x4s have 5 different angles that needed to be cut exactly right and notched to go over the horizontal 6x6 support.  I went through eight 2x4s to get the two corners correct.  Note the "home plate" shaped area above the gable will be a small accent window in the front.
