When ripping out the wall extrusions they discover a large header used as a main support for the fireplace area.  This screws up our design plan to use the deep shelf area for family photos and art and retain a even width extrusion around the area.  We decide to wall the area up to keep the even width extrusion.  When demoing the extrusions they expose all the center and front speaker wiring I had put in for the previous TV arrangement.  I would need to pull all that out through the walls and under the house and patch all the holes ... another 4 hours of work I hadn't expected to have to do.
