Took a couple of days off work and put in stone steps to the firepit ... bought them 10 years ago, just never took the time to dig up all the dirt and shift the 250 pound rocks around over and over to get them placed just right.  We rearranged the flagstone paths leading to the firepit supplementing them with a ton of leftover flagstone from last years project that we had stacked behind the fence. Nora and I also removed the sand between the flagstone everywhere, and filled the gaps in with bark.  Lots of work, but it looked much more natural when we were all done.
