They begin to install the first two of the three lower sections, the right cabinet and drawer section is installed first (in the foreground) and the center component cabinets section is attached to it next.  The component cabinets section is tiered out about 4" to give the Entertainment Center a multi-tiered appearance ... designed to look more like a very big piece of fine furniture rather than just a large set of shelves.
