All of these "after" shots were taken in mid-October when the grass begins to yellow out.  It took one major overseed 3 weeks after the initial seeding to fill in all the gaps but we had a backyard full of grass about 5 weeks after the initial seeding.  The grass and building the remainder of the stone retaining walls were our big major accomplishments this summer.
