The architectural shingles ended up looking very nice when the job
was finished. Again I shingled the front and hired a crew to
do the rest of the house to keep my sanity. This ended up
taking me a solid 3 weeks to do all the stripping, clean-up,
cutting and nailing down the plywood base, flashing the chimney,
valleys and vents, tarpapering, and laying half of the shingles.
We ended up saving $3500 doing 85% of the job ourselves.
