Ken worked for both Marathon Engineering (Appleton) and James River (Green Bay) as an engineer designing and maintaining equipment at all their plants.  In 1995, Ken started up KLS Engineering and began to do independent electrical system design contracting, having a long and successful career.  His last contract was this year in between cancer treatments and surgery.

Ken was an avid bowler, loved to golf and do crossword puzzles in his spare time.  He was a very skilled handyman, building their house from scratch and always lending a hand to anyone needing help.
