The Steffens family large Wisconsin Ave house ... under repair in 2002.  It had a full basement, 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large kitchen and family room.  Lawrence, Dora and the kids moved into it in 1929 and held onto it for over 40 years, until Dora moved in with Mary in the 1970s.
