The Montare neighborhood behind us started a tradition about 10 years ago of camping every year in July at the Lake Wenatchee State Park group campsite there.  Over the years as our 2 neighborhoods have bonded, many of the Highland Vista crowd have added this group camping event to our traditions and join them. We all ski together each year and a few years back the "Monte Vista Ski Club" was formed, complete with logo and logoed up our ski jackets and other gear.  Here are pictures from this year's camping trip and a picture taken from the same event 10 years ago ... which just says it all with regards to the bonds of friendship
